The handicap allows bettors to wager on whether the chosen outcome will be victorious after the listed handicap is added/subtracted (as applicable) to the score of the match/period/total score the bet refers to.
Here’s how it works:
- The handicap is added or subtracted from the final result of the match to determine the outcome of the bet.
- In some circumstances, if the result after applying the handicap is exactly equal to the betting line, all bets on this offer will be voided.
For example, a bet on -3.0 goals will be voided if the chosen team wins the match exactly by a difference of 3 goals (3-0, 4-1, 5-2, etc.).
Here are examples of tickets in the Handicap market:
The bet will be considered a winner if Cadiz CF team wins by 3 goals or more. If they win by 2 goals, the bet will be voided. If they win by only 1 goal, draw, or lose, the bet will be lost.
The bet will be considered a winner only if Cadiz CF team wins by 2 goals or more. If they win by 1 goal, draw, or lose, the bet will be lost.
The bet will be considered a winner if the Cadiz CF team wins or draws the match. If they lose by up to 1 goal difference, the bet will be voided. If they lose by 2 or more goals difference, the bet will be lost.
